Q

Do you have linens or chair covers?

A

We do not have linens or chair covers...but we do have a list of companies that we can recommend to you who have both linens and chair covers and so much more. Keep in mind you will not need to rent linens if you are using a professional caterer. White table linens are usually included in the quoted price from the caterer.

If we rent your decorations do you decorate?

A

We do not decorate the tables or the building when you rent our decorations. We will gather everything you are using out of our decoration room and have it sitting out in the front of the building. You will then need to place each decoration on the tables. At the end of the night there's no need to worry about packing up decorations...we'll remove everything from the tables and make sure its placed back inside the decoration room.

Are there any restrictions on decorating?

A

We do require that all candles are in some form of container...you cannot sit candles on the tables or anywhere else in the building unless they are inside or on top of a container.

We also do not allow champagne bottles to be set on the guest tables. You may serve champagne but the guests cannot open the bottles themselves.

We do not allow glitter to be used anywhere on the property.  You will need to check with us before you decorate with or throw confetti of any kind.

And we do not allow bubbles inside the building at any time.

Can we leave things for our vendors to be picked up later?

A

You can leave certain items to be picked up by your other vendors.

We can go over these details and schedule pick up times during our floor-plan meeting which takes place four weeks before your event.

Can the deposit be included in the final payment?

A

The deposit cannot be included in the final rental payment.

The deposit of $500 is a security deposit.  In the rare event of damage to our property, we would deduct the damages from this previously paid deposit.

If the security deposit does not need to be held for damages, it will be returned to you within one week of your event.

Will someone from your staff watch our party?

A

A Lake Lyndsay representative will arrive between 1 1/2 to 2 hours before your event begins.  This person will light your candles, adjust the air and lighting, and be on hand to aid in any issues that may arise.

If you would like for your Lake Lyndsay representative to take on more responsibilities such as, dismissing tables for dinner, cutting the cake, removing linens or chair covers, coordinating rehearsal, decorating the tables, etc., they would be more than willing to do so for an additional fee.  If you are interested in more information, please contact Lyndsay at (513) 868-8555.

What size are the tables at each building?

A

  • The Lodge  

    • 50 - 5' round tables - Used for guests (seating 8), appetizers, large cakes, seating arrangements, etc.

    • 12 - 8' rectangle tables - Used for buffet, bridal, dj, gift, appetizers, etc.

    • 2 - 4' round tables - Used for cake, candy, appetizers, etc.

    • 1 - 2'x4' rectangle table - Used for sand ceremony or unity candle in gazebo.

    • 1 - 6' rectangle table - Used for dj, appetizers, photo display, etc.

 

  • Kayla's Korner the guest tables are a combination of 4' and 5' round tables. 

    • 10 - 4' round tables - Used for guests (seating 6), appetizers, cake, candy, etc. 

    • 22 - 5' round tables - Used for guests (seating 8), appetizers, large cakes, seating arrangements, etc. 

    • 10 - 8' rectangle tables - Used for buffet, bridal, dj, gift, bar, appetizers, etc.

    • 1 - 2'x4' rectangle table - Used for sand ceremony or unity candle in gazebo.

    • 1 - 6' rectangle table - Used for dj, appetizers, photo display, etc.

 

  • The Beach House we have a combination of 4' and 5' round tables. 

    • We have a total of 8 4' round tables - these can seat 6 people. 

    • We have a total of 18 5' round tables - these can seat 8 people. 

    • We also have banquet tables that are 8' rectangle tables - we have a total of 8.

You are more than welcome to bring more tables and chairs to any of the buildings, but you must keep in mind you cannot exceed the maximum number of people for each building.
